The Bible is clear that Jesus was given authority after his resurrection. It is recorded over and over again in the Bible that Jesus had been given all authority in Heaven and on the Earth (Matthew 28:18, John 17:2, John 5:7, etc.). Now, keeping in mind that even though Jesus has been given all authority, that Yahweh is still above him even now according to 1 Corinthians 15:27: “For ‘He has put all things under his feet.’ But when He says ‘all things are put under him,’ it is evident that He who put all things under him is excepted.”
The one question that, to this day, no Trinitarian has been able to give me any answer to, is how it is that Jesus was given authority if he is God. I mean, no Trinitarian has even tried to give me an answer to this question. They 100% of the time avoid answering the question. One cannot give God authority; he would already have it. Likewise, if Jesus is God, he would already have all authority in Heaven and on Earth. So then, how is it that Jesus was given authority if he is God? This post is short and to the point, but I am wondering if anyone who believes that Jesus is God can give me a logical answer to this question in the comments below.
